Watch as we replant over 100 centuries-old Acacia tortilis trees that were damaged by recent storms. Thank you to AMAALA partners for their support in this effort.

The lives of Acacia tortilis trees at the AMAALA site are under threat, especially because 80% of them have a lifespan of over 100 years. These trees have been severely damaged by recent storms and torrential torrents.

The persistence of these trees to survive led the AMAALA airport team and our partners to rescue them.

Everyone worked with a collaborative team spirit towards an aim of preserving this environmental heritage, protecting it from the threat of extinction, and enhancing it in order to improve the vegetation and natural cover at #AMAALA.
